A re-imagining of the 60s classic. Disney Jetix and the Speed Racer rights-holders wanted to update Speed for today’s generation. More cars, more characters and more laughs.

Krstic pitched his new spin, (Speed as a car-thief, Trixie a secret agent, and old Chim Chim a escaped monkey from an advanced testing facility) getting as far as writing a series bible and pilot script before the project was shut down due to rights issues.
